Q&A with Luiz Wagna

Where are you from and when did you arrive in Australia?

I am from Brazil and I arrived in Australia on 23rd March 2016.

What do you love about living in Australia?

What I like most about living here is that, since the day I arrived
until now, I’m learning something new every day. Even though it’s a very
different culture, from the day I got here I was fascinated by the beauty and
security of Australia. I confess that I had my difficulties at the beginning in
stabilizing myself, learning a new language and adapting to everything new. But
when I look at it now I can see that it was worth it, because it made me a
stronger person.

Is all your family in Australia?

My unique family here is just my fiancee and myself.

What are your future goals/what do you hope to create for yourself and your family in the next 5 years?

One of my greatest wishes is to try to become a permanent resident here. Because I can really start to build my family and our dreams can become real. Therefore even though there are immigration difficulties, I always try to see us in 5 years as Australians.

Why do you love your role?

I love that I have flexibility in my schedule. So I can arrange my time to spend on my personal things and create a balance life.

What does it mean to you to win the Execellence Award for 2019?

It means that I am being an important part of the company, and that I am doing a good job. With this award, it only makes me even more motivated to maintain and even increase the expectations set on me.
